The Art of Reading - Power of Creativity

This project is about reading and reading habits. The teachers in the project will encourage the students to share experiences with each other by reading, writing, and networking with the use of the Internet. Also by doing subjects as art, cross curricular, design and technology, drama, environmental education, foreign languages, geography, history of culture, informatics/ICT, language and literature, preschool subjects, primary school subjects and more subjects. English will be used as the comunication language. We will also use emails and other software like powerpoint, video, pictures and drawings, video conference, virtual learning environment and web publishing.

The aim of the project is to improve reading habits with students by implementing many interesting, triggering and creative activities and tasks.

We will arrange reading corners for the youngest children in each participating school, reading teams and library clubs. We will arrange websites for the school libraries.

We expect that the projcet will increase motivation, creativity and enjoyment through communication, reading and team work. Awarenes of the surrounding world will improve.
